With the essential products avlable at BEAUTY BAY, plus our step-by-step guide on how to create this delightful candy cane nl design, your wish for a red manicure during Christmas has just been fulfilled.

Let’s begin:

Step One: Start off by tidying up your nls with some nl filing and cuticle trimming. We've gone for a rounded tip look but feel free to experiment with square edges if you prefer.

Next, prep your nl plates with light etching for better adhesion of the gel polish, then remove any dust particles using a prep solution. Afterward, apply a base coat onto each nl, cure it for 60 seconds in the LED lamp and follow up by applying a pinky nude gel color, agn curing it for another minute.

Step Two: With your nl artist skills or a dotting tool at hand, start by outlining candy cane shapes using red gel polish. We've placed two on each nl of varying sizes to keep things interesting. Once you're satisfied with the shape and size, cure this layer for 60 seconds under UV light.

Step Three: Now that your red gel is properly cured, grab a small detl brush we used white gel for this and add tiny white lines onto your candy canes. Make sure to seal it all in by curing agn for another minute.

Step Four: To spice things up, we've added a classic red French tip on three of the nls. If you're unsure about the French tip technique, feel free to check out our guide on how to achieve that perfect French manicure look.
